DeCLEMENTE
Won 4th place in the Nation in 1962 at the 1st
ever Presidential Physical Fitness compition sponsored by the U.S.
Marines. He started his Karate training in July of 1963 in Queens New
York, the same neighborhood as movie writer Robert Mark Kamen and his
renowned Karate instructor tough ex-marine Hanshi Ed McGrath. It was
DeCLEMENTE'S teenage years and youthful likeness that was the inspiration
for the writer of the blockbuster movie that bears his colorful Patented
Registered Nationally Trademarked name with Int'l. Rights "THE KARATE
KID"! This Viet Nam Veteran was a Combat M.P. and Sharp Shooter assigned
to the 199th Light Infantry, awarded The National Defense Metal. Over the
years he has taught his Martial-Art Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate to both the
Famous and Infamous. He has hosted his own T.V. show "The World of Fitness
and Karate", stared in a Chicago T.V. show "Self-Defense to the Max!",
"The Karate Kid Training Videos" Vol.I & II, "The Legal Weapon" and is
featured in the documentary movie "Great Karate Inspirations" and soon to
be released "Legendary Ronins". He was hand picked by Robert DeNiro to be
one of his bodyguards in the Warner Brothers movie "ANALYZE THIS",
co-staring Billy Crystal. In 1996 he was promoted to Hanshi 9th Dan, this
Karate Hall of Famer is today one of the fastest most powerful Karate men
in the World! His back knuckle strike (from a relaxed hanging position to
completion) has been documented at a speed of .06th of 100th of a
second...He has conducted seminars and been guest speaker at many
prestigious locations, such as: "The Eden Roc Resort" Miami Beach, Florida
/ "The Boca Raton Resort" Palm Beach, Florida / "The Calhoun Resort Club",
Minneapolis, Minnesota / "Williams Island Resort", Aventura, Florida /
